There is now more to benefit from Travala, a platform in which cryptocurrency can be paid to book properties.
There is now an extra 600,000 hotels available for booking through Travala.com. These extra spaces have been offered by Agoda.
According to the CEO of Travala, Juan Otero, there are now a total of 2.2 million properties to be booked through them:
“We can safely say we are the world’s largest blockchain-based online travel agency by number of accommodation options available with over 2,200,000 options to book covering 90,124 destinations.”
Agoda is a name to reckon with in the hospitality industry. According to Owler’s website, more than 4,300 staff work at Agoda and the company makes an average profit of $1.2 billion per year.
Other deals with Travala
Travala had a similar deal with Expedia about four weeks ago. In November last year, Travala also partnered with Booking.com to have some of its properties listed on its platform. At that time, Travala’s popularity increased because the number of spaces to be booked through it surged by 68%.
Before May, Travala only majored in providing rooms for travelers around the world. However, it changed this status after it partnered with TravelByBit to also provide flight reservations.
